
Perrysburg Rowing
High School 2025 Spring Season
Rowing is an official school varsity sport open to all students in grades 9-12, and there are no tryouts or cuts. No prior experience is needed.
Founded in 2015, the Perrysburg High School Team is Perrysburg’s rowing program for High School aged youth. Our Junior Rowing program, founded in 2019, is a training component for seventh and eighth grade students to prepare them for the competitive high school team.
IMPORTANT DATES
3/10: Boathouse waiver deadline. Sign here.
3/10 – 3/11: Required Swim Test – All Rowers at Fort Meigs YMCA. Sign up.
3/14: Team Pictures & Drug Testing (this will happen after school, 3:30-4:30pm and your rower will be provided a team t-shirt to wear for pictures)
4/3: Red Robin Dine & Donate (20% of Sales) ALL DAY
5/10-5/11: Midwest Scholastic Rowing Championship
5/16: Spring Banquet at PHS
6/2 – 6/6 and 7/21 – 7/25: Learn to Row Camps, 5-8 p.m. in Toledo. Learn more and register here.
TENTATIVE SPRING REGATTA SCHEDULE
4/5 – Battle of I-80 Scrimmage – Toledo, OH
4/12 – Ann Arbor Scrimmage – Ann Arbor, MI
4/19 – Off weekend
4/26 – Grand Rapids Invitational – Grand Rapids, MI
5/3 – Martindale Sprints – Milford, MI (Senior Day)
5/9 – 5/11 – Midwest Scholastic Rowing Championships, Kensington Metropark, Milford, MI
- On 5/9 rowers will be excused from school around 12:00 pm noon to go up Kensington Lake to setup equipment and practice on the course.
- We will have a bus to take us back and forth. If rowers plan to return on the bus that evening, they will arrive back in Perrysburg around 6:00-6:30.
- Time trials and semi-finals are on Saturday, and A and B finals are on Sunday. Rowers should plan on attending both days.
5/23 – 5/24 – SRAA Nationals, Pennsauken, NJ (for qualifying boats only)
